Elbow Pain

Tennis elbow and golfers elbow (known as lateral and medial epicondylitis) are painful conditions caused by repetitive loading of the forearm muscles either at work or during sporting activities including weight training and other sports not related to tennis or golf. This causes a painful limitation in elbow function around the elbow and the upper forearm muscles. These conditions are easily diagnosed clinically and with diagnostic ultrasound and there are various treatments available including Physiotherapy, local guided injections, and shockwave therapy (see under).
